A wonderful round with very beautiful views😍! Since it had frozen last night and the paths are now thawing, it was muddy in some places - so the high proportion of asphalt on the round didn't bother us. Our personal highlight was the Gudenau moated castle, a very well-maintained castle or palace complex

Charles Dickens wrote The Christmas Carol in 1843. In Arcen, this time is coming back to life, the town is decorating itself and young and old seem to be having a lot of fun taking an active part in this special Christmas market.

This circular route, which I had seen at HansN's at some point, had been waiting for a follow-up hike for a while. Today it was wonderful for two of us to wander through the Siebengebirge with lots of conversation. Only the sun didn't feel like it. And the fog was a bit over the top at the same time
