After a delicious lunch, we descend from Mudlerhof to Taisten and via the Talblickweg to Stoffnerhof, our holiday home.

A leisurely stroll through the beautiful, medieval old town of Rothenburg with its Reiterles market (i.e., Christmas market).

Back to the beach today before heading home. The beach promenade with playgrounds, loungers, food stalls, and entertainment is absolutely beautiful. And the beach, too. :)

Since we didn't want to take the stroller up from Cran d'Escalles to Cap Blanc-Nez, we started from the parking lot. We were blown around quite a bit, but we were treated to a magnificent view from Cap Gris-Nez, across the Channel, and England, all the way to Calais.

The Cran d'Escalles is an impressive cut into the cliffs. A wide path leads there from the parking lot, offering magnificent views of the beach, the sea, and even the cliffs of Dover. The beach offers a wonderful view of Cap Blanc-Nez.

From the lighthouse, with its 271 steps, you have a wonderful view of the city and the surrounding area. The bustling activity at the ferry port is particularly exciting. Afterwards, we head to Parc Richelieu, stopping at a playground, of course, and then briefly back to the town hall.

In a light drizzle, we set off for Notre-Dame. Behind the church is the Tudor Garden, worth seeing even at this time of year. From here, we head to the town hall and the Rodin statue "The Burghers of Calais." It is surrounded by a colorful sea of flowers, which also includes a small fairy-tale garden

Today it's finally beach weather, so we head to the Plage early. From the long jetty at the entrance, you have a wonderful view of the ferry port.
