This is probably the most beautiful route that can be hiked in the lake district. There are always beautiful forest paths and very often bodies of water, so you can enjoy nature to the fullest. A wonderful nature reserve with many species of birds that can be observed there. Many observation points in the form of walls and huts were set up there. Almost the entire path is asphalted, so the route is quite easy to walk.

Interesting nature reserve, but not everything is always accessible. Large parts of the area are closed off in the winter months. That is of course a shame. When we were there (end of March), most of the observation huts were not accessible. Otherwise very interesting for bird and wildlife watching.

The tour around the Flamingo Island on the Zwillbrocker Venn is fantastically beautiful. A lot of people already know this and it is therefore packed there.
