Short but very nice tour. In the first part you can learn something about reforestation in climate change, then there are great views towards Waldbreitbach, then interesting facts about basalt (mining). Finally, two highlights: a swing bench and a delicious stop at the Malberghütte.

Slight modification of the original tour. Very nice circular route, always with great views into and over the Wiedtal. Little asphalt, many narrow paths, but also wide forest and meadow paths. Two long steep climbs.

Super nice and varied hike! Upward along narrow forest paths, initially on a steep slope, later parallel to a small stream. You can avoid a steep (but doable) passage (see photos). Great view (with bench) at the Bärenkopf. Then first over a plateau, with repeated views of the Wiedtal, and a lot of wide

Beautiful tour with great views (of the Wiehl Dam and in general). Lots of small asphalt roads, which suited us as the unpaved paths were still very muddy.
