Day 11 - Riding away from the heatwave

As expected, we started the day pretty aimlessly. First stop: laundry at the local Intermarché. Every supermarket here has washing machines for €4 - perfect for bikepackers! We spent the hour doing nothing but slowly waking up in the scorching heat, already intense at 10:30 a.m.
Eventually, we set off towards Foix to decide whether to continue into Le Vélosud or towards Andorra. Progress was slow, and by the time we got moving around 1 p.m., it was almost time for a heat-induced pause. We didn’t make much distance but ended up at a fantastic campsite with Caribbean vibes. In the evening, we treated ourselves to a pizza dinner, the culinary highlight of our trip so far.
