You'll start this adventure from the Pian dei Tass agriturismo, where CAI trail 978 begins its journey through the pristine wilderness of the Prescudin Regional Forest. The trail, also known as the Emanuele Salvador path, climbs through switchbacks before taking you into one of Friuli's most untouched natural areas.

Villa restored and owned by the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region in the Prescudin park. The site is very well maintained, in the clearing there are picnic tables, toilets, waste collection and a fountain (I assume non-potable water).
