This long-distance cycle path follows the Lech from its source in Tyrol to where it flows into the Danube near Marxheim. The section in Bavarian Swabia begins at Prittriching. We suggest riding this part of the Lech Cycle Path upstream and following the Lech from the mouth. With every step on the pedals

On the way from Lech to the train station in Schmiechen, be sure to stop by the Cafe Streuselkuchen in Maria Kappl. A kitschy, romantic spot like no other. The short half-avenue between Kappl and Schmiechen is also beautiful
