The bridge crossing South Fork Kings River just before Arrow Creek above Upper Paradise Valley, a bit upstream of its confluence with Woods Creek, has been washed out a couple of years ago, but given the dense forest there are usually a couple of tall fallen trees that can serve as a good second option to cross the creek with dry feet. Failing that, the valley is relatively wide here, slowing down the river and making fording in summer a reasonably safe option.
Actually not a highlight, but since the original bridge was washed away, you have to go straight through the river to the other bank. I was not quite comfortable with so much luggage and my photo equipment. But in the end everything went well and arrived safely on the other side. There is also the Upper Paradise Valley Camp, where you can pitch your tent.
