A garden surrounds this former tea house of the margravial family, which was built on the high terrace of the Murg in 1722. The pagoda castle is a replica of a building in the park of the Nymphenburg Palace in Munich. As a "play house" for the children of the courtyard, it was integrated into the pleasure and utility garden. The city of Rastatt has been making the building available to the Kunstverein as an exhibition building since 1976.

This former tea house of the margravial family is surrounded by a garden, which was built in 1722 on the Murg's high terrace by court architect Johann Michael Ludwig Rohrer. The pagoda castle is a replica of a building in the park of the Nymphenburg Palace in Munich. As a “play house” for the children of the courtyard, it was integrated into the pleasure and utility garden.
Today, national and international exhibitions take place there in the summer months, organized by the Rastatt Art Association.
