The Teichalmsee is located at an altitude of 1,200 meters and covers an area of five hectares. It is a wonderful destination in both summer and winter. In summer you can walk around the mountain lake and explore the Teichalmmoor on this beautiful nature trail.

The Teichalm moor is the only mountain pine upland moor in the Grazer Bergland. It is one of the last raised mountain pines in Austria with a special flora and fauna. The moor nature trail is free to walk on, a viewing platform and cozy benches invite you to linger. The path leads over larch planks, boards provide information about the special features of this natural gem. The entrance is between Teichalmsee and the Latschenhütte.
