The mountain (1,011 meters) is the landmark of this region. More precisely, its wooden observation tower, which houses the "Turm-Stüberl", which invites to a little refreshment. If you want to enjoy the great panorama of the Bavarian-Bohemian Border Ridge, the Passauer Land and the Danube plain as far as the Alps from the tower, there are only two obstacles: 127 steps and a "Ascension" fee of one Euro.
