The Igueste traffic light, also known as the Anaga traffic light, was one of the first electric traffic lights to be built along the coast of Spain.
It was built and began to be used at the end of the s. XIX, although due to the technological progress suffered by communications, it was stopped using it in 1970.
To this day, only the remains of what was this magnificent building remain, located in a location with very good views of the coast and the sea.

Designated in 1984 through a Royal Order, the Igueste or Anaga traffic light, as it is also known, was one of the first twenty to be installed on the Spanish coast, due to its ideal location.
