This is one of the obligatory stops on the way if you are ascending Toubkal. Here you must show your passport again. You can take the opportunity to take a break while drinking a freshly squeezed orange juice or a hot tea. Take the opportunity to regain strength!

We have done it on the descent from Toubkal, so it was an oasis for refreshment.

There is a checkpoint where our mountain guide showed our passports and they were recorded. Nothing was checked on the way down. I don't know for sure whether this point is exactly at this highlight. In my opinion, none of the photos match the correct checkpoint (police). The drinks/snack huts were somewhere else. I went to the toilet at the checkpoint, but I didn't see that you could buy something to drink etc. there.
