The Uwe Dune is about 1 km from Kampen. A wooden staircase with 110 steps leads to the viewing platform on its summit. The view is gigantic and in good weather you can not only look over large parts of Sylt, but even to the Danish North Sea island of Rømø and to the German and Danish mainland.

The 52.5 meter high Uwe dune is the highest point on the island and is well worth it. You have a good all-round view from her. It's not too far from the parking lots or you can easily incorporate them into a round trip. Not far away is the beacon and the red cliff. The dune area around the dune is also worth seeing.
