The age-old lime tree with a circumference of about 8 meters is located directly in front of the church in the district of Blomberg Reelkirchen. The age of the lime tree is estimated at about 800 years. This makes the tree one of the oldest trees in North Rhine-Westphalia. For the preservation of this tree, it has been secured in the past years with supports and ropes.
