The Kaiserbad Heringsdorf is one of the most famous seaside resorts of Usedom and is often referred to as the "villa district of Usedom". The pier in the Baltic Sea resort of Heringsdorf is impressive, setting a small record with a length of 508 meters. No pier in Germany is longer.

Heringsdorf is a German seaside resort on the island of Usedom. The place is known for its baths, including the Villa Irmgard, which is now a museum. A promenade connects Heringsdorf with 2 other bathing resorts, which are collectively called "imperial baths". Alongside the neighboring bathing resorts of Ahlbeck and Bansin, the seaside health resort of Heringsdorf is one of the three beautiful sisters, also known as Imperial Baths. After 1990, many buildings of the spa architecture were reprivatized and extensively renovated as part of urban development funding. The place dressed up in the best sense of the word and is literally a tourist pearl on the Baltic Sea.

In 1995 the pier was rebuilt, but it did not follow the architectural model of the old bridge. Today it is Germany's longest pier and the longest of its kind in continental Europe, on which you can even stay in comfortably furnished holiday apartments.

Today's seaside resort offers a variety of attractive shops, hotels, restaurants and a lively life on the promenade, which do not lack a certain sophisticated glamour, but have something ready for all requirements.
