    Experience the feeling of being right in the woods. The guest house of St. Bernard maintained by the Mountaineering Fraternity of St. Bernard Samobor is located deep in the dense forest. There is a cross road near Gostinjac. The place is also designed almost as a playground for children with a swing, slide, basketball football field and the like, while parents can enjoy a handful of tables next to a walled barbecue, bake.

      Nicely decorated and maintained, dear people. In principle, it is open on Sundays, except for major holidays and during August, from 10 am to 4 pm in winter and a little longer in summer. It is supplied only with drinks, among other things it offers excellent and affordable local wine.

      Brotherhood of St. Bernard was the first in Croatia to transfer the veneration of St. Bernard of Aosta, patron saint of mountaineers and climbers. Sv. Bernard was helping exhausted passengers at the dangerous Alps crossing where he decided to build an inn for rest and refreshment. This inn still exists today on the Italian-Swiss border and is called Gostinjc Veliki Sv. Bernard. Bernardine dogs and two alpine passes are named after this saint.
      Following the example of its patron, the Brotherhood in Gostinjac offers rest and refreshment to all mountaineers who go there.
