Really nice place with history:
The medieval city fortifications of Friedberg (Aichach-Friedberg district, Swabia) were built from 1409 as a border fortress of the Dukes of Bavaria-Ingolstadt against nearby Augsburg and to secure the customs office at the Lech crossing (high customs). In addition to large parts of the ring wall, the stumps of 14 defense towers have also been preserved, the gates were removed in the 19th century.

Along the city wall at the Ortaaisgang towards Augsburg you come to a kind of flap like a mailbox lid on the right side of the wall. Under every cover there is an exciting story about Friedberg. Our children had a lot of fun. The photo shows the path to the lids. They then come to the right corner on the right wall.
