The Conweiler Stein is a natural monument between Conweiler, Dennach and Dobel not far from the Volzemer Stein. It is a formation in the Middle Buntsandstein that forms a layered horizon from the main conglomerate. The block disintegration and the detachment of larger blocks is caused by softer, partially eroded layers. It is a sea of rocks measuring several cubic meters in size. In some cases the layering structures can be clearly seen on the individual blocks.

This stone formation is not easy to find, and there are several fallen trees blocking the path (as of September 2019). You can still get to the stone formation without causing any damage, but unfortunately you can only see it from above. Anyone who knows the Volzem stone formation, which is not far from here, can get a general idea.
