The Prince-Bishop's Palace in Münster, Westphalia, is a residential palace for the penultimate Prince-Bishop Maximilian Friedrich von Königsegg-Rothenfels, built between 1767 and 1787 in the Baroque style. The architect was Johann Conrad Schlaun. Since 1954 it has been the seat and landmark of the Westphalian Wilhelms University. The castle is built from the Baumberger sandstone typical of Münster.
