    In the past, on Maundy Thursday, and today on Ascension Day, the current lord of the castle, Baron von Boyneburg, makes a "donation".
    While it used to be bread and bacon, today it is only bread that the whole community was supposed to be fed and given gifts on the day of her death because of the legend of "The Lady of Boyneburg". An event that draws numerous participants up here every year.
