    The small village, probably founded in the 12th century by the Lobdeburg family, was an active fief of the Abbots of Saalfeld and was repeatedly deserted. V. and many committed people take care of an upgrading of the region and the ruin together with the desert Töpfersdorf and other monuments of the region.                                 I had read a lot about the Töpfersdorf church ruins beforehand and I must say that I was very sad when we visited the place yesterday. As the ruins were falling apart, attempts were made to stabilize them with steel cables, wooden beams and huge metal anchors. This sight distorts the whole aura of the place. I think it's terrible that people always have to intervene everywhere and don't see the soul of the place. Then a fire was lit there and cigarette butts were lying around. Does this really have to happen? We should respect and honor Mother Earth!!! I really hope that a solution is found here.
