      The driveway along the west ramp meanders in countless bends, partly leading through forest. Directly to Etchartes one learns, what to expect on the next 10.5 km. The climb climbs from 8 to 12 percent and double-digit it continues - only with small breaks.
      The asphalt is less good and the small road is narrow. If you take the exit to the east, special care is needed here. The asphalt is also not good there and the shade of the trees can hide many a pothole.
      The driveway can be well - coming from the Col du Soulor - drive. There take the exit towards Ferrères.

        Beautiful route offering a quiet alternative for climbing Soulour and Aubisque from Argeles. But beware of poor road surfaces on both sides, especially on the descent.
