          The Hedwigsquelle is located about halfway between Ettlingen and Wolfartsweier near the B 3 on the edge of the forest. The Hedwigshof and the barbecue area at the Hedwigsquelle are also nearby.
          The water is not suitable for drinking (according to the sign from the town of Ettlingen). The name is said to go back to Hedwig, the wife of a forester from Stetten, who was the owner of the Hedwigshof.
