    Very nice place with the town church of St. Sebastian.
    Around the square there is a beautiful ensemble of half-timbered houses.
    In many of the half-timbered houses there are restaurants with outdoor dining.
    Sitting on the market square has a very special flair!
    Definitely worth seeing!

          The square was probably created in 1322 with the construction of today's town church (in the meantime Barfüsserkirche), which was built for the Limburg Franciscan monastery, which had existed since 1232. Its former buildings from the 18th century (in the meantime episcopal palace, today episcopal ordinariate) and the church now delimit the square to the east.

                        Limburg has very beautiful half-timbered houses and the surrounding area is great to explore.
                        There are hiking opportunities outside the city. At least that's what I read in a brochure.
