The Walsrode Industrial Park (IPW) is located in the Bomlitz district of the Lower Saxony town of Walsrode. It is located in the Hamburg/Hanover/Bremen triangle (southwest of the Lüneburg Heath).

The industrial park was founded on January 1, 2001 on the industrial site of Wolff Walsrode AG, which was founded in 1815. The Walsrode Industrial Park was initially operated by Dow Wolff Cellulosics GmbH, a business unit of the Dow Chemical Company, which took over Wolff Walsrode AG in 2007 and further expanded the site. After a takeover by DuPont (2017/2018), there was another change of ownership in 2021, this time to International Flavors & Fragrances Inc. (IFF). Since 2021, the park has been operated by the IFF subsidiary DDP Specialty Products Germany GmbH & Co. KG (DDP).

Today, around 1,700 employees are employed in over 20 companies in the Walsrode Industrial Park. The area covers 87 hectares of industrially developed land. Areas of 14 ha and 35 ha are available for new settlements. The range of infrastructure and industrial services has been organized to further broaden the range of industries.

The further expansion of the industrial park is geared more towards small and medium-sized companies (SMEs) whose activities are supported by large-scale industrial logistics and infrastructure. In 2011, developed commercial and industrial areas, as well as ready-to-use laboratory and office space, were still available on an area of 130 ha (production area 210,000 m2).
