The Wieshof snack station, known by the locals as Knallhof or simply "Knoi", is located just under a kilometer south of Hinterthiersee and is a great place to stop for a nice hike. In winter, it is the starting point for a fast-paced (illuminated) toboggan run.
So if you are asked: "Are you going to go tobogganing Knoi?", You should definitely agree. But before you leave, you will of course enjoy a glass of mulled wine and a hearty snack or Christl’s famous apple strudel.

Very nice landlords, nice and quiet inn even in summer. And there are cheap guest rooms, not only interesting for long-distance hikers (Nordalpenweg = Austrian long-distance hiking trail 01).
