The White House is definitely a must-see. Unfortunately, the view is now blocked by many barriers.
On the south side you can still see the seat of government quite well from a distance.

There really isn't much to say. The White House is the official residence and seat of government of the President of the United States.
The north side is nicer for me because you can get much closer.

Unfortunately, the White House is pretty much locked down, you can hardly get near it, there are lots of police everywhere. It's a pity, because the building is really beautiful, historically significant and, as the seat of the President, with high symbolic value.
