Since 2002 there are the friendship farms in Hanover. In the meantime, ten areas have been set up and designated in the city area, on which trees can be planted. These tree groves are intended to reflect the diversity of friendships and memories in the composition of planted tree species. Anyone can plant a tree there, in consultation with the Department of Environment and Urban Greenery.
