                  Fischerhude on the Wümme, known as an artists' village since the beginning of the 20th century, impresses with its historic buildings in romantic alleys. It is a place that invites you to linger. Gastronomic offerings support this with tasty treats.
                  With around 3,400 inhabitants, Fischerhude is a relatively small place, but it is worth a stay just for the museum of the impressionist and co-founder of Worpswede, Otto Modersohn. But the Wümme that flows here, the local museum, the Liebfrauenkirche and the Mühlenberg with its windmill are also worth a visit.
                  First mentioned in documents in 1124, Fischerhude, located on the Hamburg-Bremen long-distance cycle route, belongs to the town of Ottersberg.
