Taking the ferry is always a bit of a journey...

The fast ferries sailing between Vlissingen and Breskens are exclusively for transferring cyclists, mopeds and pedestrians.

Cars drive through the Western Scheldt tunnel between Zeeuws-Vlaanderen and Zuid-Beveland. The sailing times are in line with the arrival and departure times of trains and buses.

The modern Ferries were built in 2004 by Damen Shipyards on behalf of the Province of Zeeland. The Fast Ferries have come to replace the large double-deck ferries that have disappeared due to the arrival of the Western Scheldt tunnel. The crossing that many people used to make every day is now only reserved for pedestrians and cyclists.

Sailing period: All year round.

The modern fast ferries were built in 2004 by Shipyards on behalf of the province of Zeeland.
