The new Traunsteiner Salinenpark was built for locals and guests of the city in order to make it possible to experience the structural testimonies from the saline period again. Blocked by more recent buildings, a view of the facades of the listed production and residential premises from Salinenstrasse and Reiffenstuelstrasse was only possible to a very limited extent and the spatial connection with the opposite Rupertistadl was not recognizable, partly because of the hedges planted on both sides of Salinenstrasse.
