At the peak of the Fliegerberg you should park your bike for a moment and walk the 100 meters on paths through gorse bushes to the vantage point on the high plateau. The view over Having, Stresower Bay and in the other direction over Lake Sellin and to Sellin is simply great and a well-deserved reward after the strenuous ascent.

13% gradient! For us - coming from Middelhagen by bike and handbike - we could only manage with the brakes on and the breath held. My wife would not have been able to cope with this section of the mountain with her handbike because the drive wheel would not have any grip.
