Nicely located in the middle of Dahmsdorf. You have to think away from the road and then you can go on a journey through time. Successful renovation. At the back of the church there would even be a protected place to bivouack if all else fails and the campsite around the corner is out of the question.

The field stone building from the 13th and 14th centuries is one of the oldest churches in Brandenburg and was badly damaged in the Thirty Years' War. The church was only rebuilt decades after the end of the war. In the course of this, the original tower was demolished and the building received the timber-framed roof turret that is still preserved today. The year 1719 probably refers to this repair work.
Inside the church, the medieval origins are still clearly visible: the light falls through the three narrow lancet windows into the roughly plastered and simply designed interior. The floor is made of red bricks.
