Around 2015 the Glines Canyon Dam, along with the Elwah River Dam a bit downstream were removed and the lakes drained. It now allows the salmon to swim upstream to spawn. The remnants of the Glines Canyon Dam are there to check out and read the various displays about the removal project, and the restoration project. If you look carefully, you may even see salmon swimming upstream!
