At 636 meters, the graduation tower in Bad Dürrenberg is the longest graduation tower in Germany and is authentic from the 19th century. The buildings are twelve meters high and filled with brushwood. The brine runs down channels, over wooden boxes at the top, then down over the brushwood. The water evaporates, the salt crystallizes on the brushwood. Very impressive.
