The Pottaschhütten used to stand here, then the Storrwoggerhof and finally the forester's lodge. I found some sparse remains of the wall.

This is one of over 300 knight's stones of the Palatinate Forest Association. He points out the following:
“The Storrwooger Hof was founded in 1735 by potash distillers. In 1833, the heirs Barbara Klung and Kieffers' widow sold the farm and all of its possessions to the Bavarian state for the sum of 5,980 guilders. The courtyard house was assigned to the forest warden Franz Hög as an office building.
In 1892, at the request of the forestry administration, all the buildings were blown up and the demolition material was sold. If you look back through history, the estate was privately owned for almost 100 years.”

The buildings stood in the 18th and 19th centuries before the forester's lodge was demolished.
The building, which was initially used as a farmhouse, was converted into a forester's lodge in 1833 with the expansion of the timber drift on the Storrbach. From the Storrwoogerhof only a small remnant of the basement masonry can be seen today.
