The inn used to be a smithy with small farms for generations, hence the name "Schmie". In the summer of 1950 was the establishment of the inn "Zum alten Schloss". The name should remind of the castle ruins, which can still be visited today. With an extension was demolished in the winter of 1992/93, the old barn and the cultivation of the inn began. In this new building are today the dining room with bar, the kitchen, butcher shop and various ancillary rooms.
