The Himmelmoor is a very spectacular piece of nature and is also located so close to Hamburg. This place is perfect for hiking or a picnic. For us sports lovers, the so-called Himmelmoorlauf is held once a year (usually in September). Be careful: wear good shoes all year round and don't forget mosquito repellent in the summer.

This moor is absolutely worth seeing. Especially from the Aussichshügeln, but also the boardwalk in the northeastern corner is worth a visit!
