Command post of the 8th Guards Army under the commanding officer Vasily Chuikov, from which he led the storm on the Seelow heights together with the Commander of the 1st Belorussian Front Georgy Zhukov. Unfortunately, the then extensive view through the current vegetation is no longer understandable. The bunker served as protection during artillery or airman fire.
You can reach the bunker via Reitwein or Wuhden. In both cases a MTB or ATB is the best choice (sandy forest road).
