A visit to the Plattnerhof is an educational experience for the whole family. The historic courtyard is over 600 years old and now houses an apiary and a museum.
Outside there is an educational trail on the subject of bees, and there is also a shop with honey products and souvenirs.

In Wolfsgruben, easily accessible with the Rittner Bahn, the Plattner Bienenhof beekeeping museum is located on a hill and can be seen from afar.
The Plattner Hof is one of the oldest farms on the Ritten and an exciting museum that shows how farmers lived in the past. And there's more: In the barn part of the house you can find out everything about bees and honey production from the largest collection about South Tyrolean beekeeping. An educational trail has also been created on the picturesque hill that explains the world from the perspective of bees.
