The Eickhorst windmill (Storcks Mühle, Mühlenroute Nr. 31; more information at: windmuehle-eickhorst.de) is easy to reach by bike on paved paths with few cars. The area around the mill is also freely accessible outside of the regular grinding and baking days. Tables and benches invite you to rest.

Eickhorst windmill
The Wallholländer was built in 1848. The conical mill tower was built of quarry stones. On the weather side it was plastered. The mill tower is surrounded by an earth wall. This rampart was also walled with rubble stones. This mill is also supported by a motor that has been driving the mill since 1909. In addition, the field rods on the wing system (that is the pair of wings that lie in front of the house rods facing the field) were replaced by shutter wings that were easier to operate.
Two milling gears, one of which is functional - preserved for wind operation; Shot gear, roller mill and various auxiliary equipment for engine operation available. Bakehouse from 1879 and warehouse from 1858 for visitor care.
It is part of the mill route and Westphalian mill road.
