Today I drove both on the ascent (from Steinerberg) and exceptionally on the descent (to Sattel), is a nice tour even without trails. At the weekend, the summit restaurant Wildspitz is busy when the weather is good, so plan the tour better on weekdays.

Great summit (highest in Zug), asphalt ascent from Sattel/Steinerberg, different options for descent at the top (Rtg Aegerisee, via Chaiserstocke etc. with beautiful trails), or traverse to Gnipen (where the Goldau landslide ended).

One of my local mountains. Can be driven on from different sides. The most beautiful is from Unterägeri via Urzlenboden, or via Dürrenboden, Ober Hütte, Gnipen to the Wildspitz. Boring because many bikers especially Ebiker from the saddle up on the road. I only do it in early spring, because there is a lot of snow up from the Urzlenboden until about mid-April.
