A short detour on the way to the Cascades des Anglais. Well worth it, because of the beautiful view of the Monte d'Oro and the remains of the fort. There are still window windows, cellar space, tower remains with single steps and walls preserved. Then it goes beautiful forest trails, z. T. through scree slopes through the beautiful beech-Laricciokiefer mixed forest of the Forêt de Vizzavona to the upper waterfall of Agnone

There are even entrances below the actual ruin. I would rather not go in, it seems that one or the other stone has already come down.

This path continues from a much higher, also very beautiful crest path.
By the way, be careful: the path does NOT continue in the direction of Vizzavona, even if Komoot makes you believe it. The path just doesn't exist.

This is a nice mid-trail eye-catcher as you come over the ridge from the Cascades des Anglais. You can see the ruins from afar.
