Beautiful little spot but the path between the bridge and the main road is prone to flooding (knee deep) .. worth taking into consideration especially if you’ve hiked around derwent water from Keswick.

People often go swimming from the banks under the bridge. In the winter when it rains a lot this whole area can be underwater.
