                    The Sanctuary of Our Lady of Soviore is a Catholic place of worship located in the municipality of Monterosso al Mare, on the provincial road 38, in the province of La Spezia. The religious building is located in the Cinque Terre National Park, on the slopes of Monte Soviore (464 m above sea level), among woods and terraced fields near the road connecting the municipalities of Monterosso al Mare and Levanto. The church is the seat of the parish of the same name of the Vicariate of Riviera of the Diocese of La Spezia-Sarzana-Brugnato, whose patron saint since May 11, 1974 has been Our Lady of Soviore. The main holidays are August 15 (Feast of the Assumption) and the Sunday after September 8.
                    The sanctuary is one of the “Sanctuaries of the Cinque Terre”, together with the sanctuary of Nostra Signora di Montenero in Riomaggiore, the sanctuary of Nostra Signora della Salute in Volastra, the sanctuaries of Nostra Signora delle Grazie and Nostra Signora di Reggio in Vernazza.
