          The Götzer Tower is 42 m high. It stands between Götz and Götzer Berge in the forest and can be easily reached on foot. Once at the top, you can look over the treetops, over the entire forest, over the Havel and even see the Berlin television tower in the distance. So it's worth visiting it 😀

                                Miracles always happen. Such a great tower in the middle of the lonely peace of the Brandenburg forests

                                On June 14, 2012, an observation tower was opened on Götzer Berg. The foundation stone was laid on October 12, 2011. The tower, made of galvanized steel, is 42.15 m high and has a viewing platform at a height of 27 m.[4]

                                Its shape is intended to be reminiscent of the signal and observation tower of the state survey that used to stand nearby. That is why the four supporting pillars are also clad in wood. The tower is not exactly on the site of the former signal tower of the first order trigonometric point, but about 7 m to the east of it, in order to continue to enable geodetic measurements.
