Marble Falls
The Cascata delle Marmore (German marble case) is a three-piece, artificially created waterfall near Terni in the Italian region of Umbria.

The waterfall is located at the end of the river Velino. This enters with the waterfalls as a left tributary in the Nera. First works for the waterfalls, called Cavo Curiano, took place in 271 BC. Held by the Roman consul Manius Curius Dentatus. This changed the course of the river Velino, which previously led to swamps at Rieti.
