Very nice little lake with benches and loungers in the sun that invite you to linger. The restaurant is currently closed on Mondays and Tuesdays out of season.

Today I was walking with Eva (4 months after her operation) from the parking lot (charges apply 1€/hour) slowly about 130 hm to the Berglsteiner See; we circled this paradise leisurely. The beautiful inn, built of wood, is open until October 24th, 2022, closes for 4 weeks of vacation and then opens again to spoil the guests; very friendly!!

Very nicely located in the middle of the forest - but ⚠️ unfortunately no longer suitable for swimming as there are a lot of fish and the water quality leaves a lot to be desired (see photos). The legend of the petrified lovers is interesting.
