    Canyon hike.
    In summer the stream regularly dries up.
    Can only be hiked in spring, summer and autumn
    when rainfall is low.
    Hiking shoes and good surefootedness are a basic requirement.
    Definitely worth seeing!

              A varied gorge with two climbing spots. Most of the hike is in the shade, so it can be done even on hot days. The upper and lower sections are fairly flat, while the middle section goes steeply downhill. It is marked as having an elevation gain of 500 meters, but since it also goes uphill every now and then, you actually end up with an elevation gain of over 700 meters.

                The gorge is home to the endangered Cretan wild goat, you can find a wide variety of trees here (cypress, pine, maple, oak, holm oak...) and in the lower part you walk through a sea of flowering oleander in spring.
